There's a lot of greenwashing out there, but truly sustainable bras containing zero plastic and synthetics, are hard to come by. All of our organic cotton bras are made from 100% organic cotton, no spandex. We have a small range in different styles and colours. A cotton bra is soft, comfortable and breathable which makes it an ideal choice to stay cool in summer. It’s gentle against your skin. Made from organic cotton with no synthetics, an organic cotton Very Good Bra can also be disposed of in your worm farm or compost when they're done. We believe bras should never end up in landfill, and ours are designed to be zero environmental impact at end of life.
We make our organic cotton, non wired bras in up to 34 proper cup sizes to get the fit and support you need. The cup in our cotton bra is created from scratch using a cut and sew style to hug your body, where conventional bras use plastic cups to mould. Our bra is much harder to make and fit, but we’ll never give up! Going up to a size G cup now in one style, we also make the best cotton bras for large breasts that we can without resorting to spandex/plastic.

Derived from wood pulp, Tencel fibers are both eco-friendly and luxurious. Tencel fibers are produced from Eucalyptus trees in a sustainable, circular process which ensures minimal environmental impact.
Tencel is known for its exceptional softness, providing a luxurious feel and breathability. Our underwear is incredibly soft and breathable, offering a gentle touch against the skin. Tencel is an excellent choice for both style and practicality.
We have four styles of tencel underwear including boyleg briefs, high-leg briefs and high waist underwear. Made from Lenzing Tencel, all styles are worm food at end of life!

The Very Good Nursing Bra
We are delighted to offer world-first, 100% plastic free, sustainable nursing bras. We make in both unbleached and un-dyed organic cotton, as well as Lenzing Tencel - made from Eucalyptus trees. Our nursing bras have quickly become best-sellers since their launch 2023, so lock in your size when we have stock.
What are they made from?
Our nursing bras are wire free and made from 100% organic cotton or Lenzing tencel. The straps are tree rubber and organic cotton. They are sewn with cellulose thread (made from trees) and the label is printed in the garment with safe, Oeko-Tex certified inks. The organic cotton is minimally processed to make it the most sustainable option, which benefits both you and the environment.
Why are they better for me?
Our organic cotton and tencel nursing bras breathe, wash well and contain no nasties. It's so important to avoid plastics while nursing and organic cotton or tencel is a safe choice for you, baby and the planet. Of course, they are wire free to make nursing as comfortable as possible. How do they work?
Our unique sustainable nursing bras are designed to be highly adjustable. They feature 6 loops each side enabling them to expand or contract by 6cm each side using a clip. They are designed to pull down for breastfeeding and they don't have drop-down clips. The bra has wide straps for the best, soft support on your shoulders and skin. The cup has a front dart but is otherwise seamless for maximum comfort for your breasts.
