Love the vintage peach bra, it’s the first style I bought and I still like to go back to it, comfy and cool!
This is a great product. It’s very comfortable and knowing that it’s not going to sit in land fill forever is a gift not only to the wearer but to our planet
The bra fits well. Great & beautiful bra design.
Most of this bra is comfortable for me, but for my highly sensitive skin, the cotton & ribber straps are itchy.
I guess I could cut off the bra straps & sew on new bra straps.
I will only wear this bra with a soft spencer underneath.
Emily, so sorry the straps irritate you. We are working on some tencel and natural rubber straps which are softer, although if you have an allergy to natural rubber it may still be an issue for you. Thanks for your feedback.
I have been wearing these bras since 2019 and have seen (and worn) the evolution over the years. My latest bra has to be the best fit yet that I get excited to wear it. I love the brands commitment to planet and body health, while striving to improve, push and set new industry standards. Buying a bra from Very Good Bra is an example of how our dollars can be an impact for good. Big love to Steph and her team :)
This is exactly what I wanted, no chemicals, no plastic! It's exactly as advertised, and it fits perfectly. I accidentally ordered the wrong size at first, but their customer service was amazing, and they switched it out for me.
I love this bra! Really comfortable and gives great support and lift, especially for a bra made of all natural and non-plastic fabric. I have tried several brands of natural bras, and this one is my favorite!
I’m a 34D. Which when I first buy a bra, I’m usually on the longest setting of hooks. That way overtime as the electricity stretches. I can tighten down on it. It came in and I was on the third hole of hooks and now I’m on the final hole of hooks.
I love the fit in the color, but the sizing is way off for me
Hi Janine, I'm so sorry to hear this. Our bras normally don't stretch so much as we have no spandex and the front frame of the bra has a rigid liner in it which means it doesnt stretch at all. It may be that you need to size down in the band next time in our bras? Happy to help if you want to email your measurements to hello@theverygoodbra.com - thanks 🙏
And I had have soooo many! Amazing from determine the size to receiving it ! Comfortable all day!! Wow!
Now I’ve only worn it a handful of times so far but it is even better than I expected it to be and incredibly practical while still looking cute! Very very happy with all the ethics behind the brand as well!! :))
I have been buying from the Very Good Bra for years. Must have had 6-8 and love them. I appreciate the wider straps on my latest 36C ones so have ordered two more. :)
I have made a second purchase knowing how good the bras are
100% cotton comfort without the daggy - love to wear to bed
The bra, as usual is a great fit and very comfortable.
The knickers not really for an aged body like mine. Need more belly room.
My favourite bra yet! Love the bit of stretch in the straps and the band, makes for a comfy fit. The pads sit well in the bra and as usual its super light so feels like you aren't wearing one! Love your work!
I love this bra. It's so soft and fits like a glove. The only thing I'd recommend for future is to use the same strap type as the indigo bra, as that one seems to last better.
A bra made from a soft and gentle cotton, with a clever design feature to give good support for larger cup sizes. Unfortunately the pretty metal ring that ties the strap to the bra triggers my contact dermatitis, the reason I went searching for a cotton bra. It's not rough or scratchy, but my unsettled skin reacts to it.
I'm keeping the bra to use on the days I'm washing the only bra I have that doesn't irritate my skin. I'm writing this to inform anyone else with a similar condition about my experience but I don't want to put off anyone with happy skin from trying the bra as it's well made and I'm all for supporting small, local businesses.
Thanks Caite, good to know and I'm sorry it irritates you :-(.
Is there anything we could do to improve? I don't think we can dispense with the metal rings unfortunately as the metals provide elongation and shortening. But let us know, Steph 🙏
Size fits perfectly, the fabric is soft and washes well, the straps are wide and comfortable. Highly recommend the investment in these bras.
I bought the new stretch bra and it is just so comfortable! Cannot recommend it highly enough
My regular gym pants - a good weight for the warmer months. Lovely texture against my skin. Get the black ones for the gym or yoga — the fabric of the grey ones is maybe a bit light for this purpose
I've basically been braless since my son was born (4 years ago), but there are just some instances where a girl needs a bra. I'm obsessed with this one. It's so comfortable and makes me feel extra hot.
supportive, comfy, no pressure on my shoulders, nothing digging in, and super cute. What's not to love? I wear it casually around the house, for errands, light walking, talking my kid to the park, etc. Much comfier without the padding. It doesn't give me the shape I want for wearing to work or dressing up - for that I wear molded cup bras, but I have been changing into this as soon as I get home from work. I'd wear it to bed, but the band is a little snug for that. I would love one more clip on the band to loosen for wearing to bed. I would never take it off! My only issue/confusion (and I wouldn't take away a star for this because the bra itself fits so well) is that I converted my US size to order my correct size, which actually did not match my measurements on the sizing chart. According to my measurements on the size chart, I should be a 12/34 D. This seemed off to me, as I already own a V for Victory bra in black tencel in 12/34DD, and the cups fit fine while the band is a bit too large. Therefore, it would make sense for me to go to the sister size 10/32E. I went ahead and just converted my US size, 32DDD to Australian sizing: 10/32E, and the 10/32E fits me perfectly. Had I ordered according to the size chart, I'm not sure I would have gotten the correct fit. I suspect the band would have still been too large, with the cups being too small. I can't say for sure, as I haven't tried the 12/34D, but I'm very happy with the 10/32E. I do love my tencel 12/34DD for sleeping, but prefer this one (10/32E) for everything else due to the more supportive band. The bra itself is great, and I'm glad I went with my instinct on the size. I can't wait to order in another color. I just wish I didn't have to choose between a size for sleep and a size for everyday wear.
I'm a sustainability freak. A hardcore sustainability nerd. I do so much research to ensure there's no plastic in what I consume. I'm not perfect but there are some things you can control. And I was so pleased to see that I could stop using plastic in my bras.
My bras were the saddest things you've ever seen because I didn't want to switch to a unsustainable bra.
Shopping sustainably is hard. Shopping bras sustainably is harder. It's more expensive, everyone treats sustainability differently and then, let's talk about style. Boy. It's like sustainability in fashion needs to be nonexistent. And I don't know why, but it seems like supporting our boobies also isn't important in sustainability.
Finding The Very Good Bra was exciting. No plastic. YESSSS. No unpleasant designs. YESSS. But I must admit that I was worried about support. I have larger breasts, and I wasn't sure how this was going to go.
But I had to find out.
And I'm so glad I did. Honestly, I tried my bra on as soon as it arrived, scared it wouldn't do the trick and it just felt like the best thing to wear in the world.
It was comfortable, supportive and looking a lot better on me than what I was imagining looking at the models on the website (nothing against the models - they are all beautiful). I thought the band under the cups would be more like a sports bra, but it really doesn't feel that way, and it's just comfortable. It literally feels like I'm wearing nothing.
It's amazing.
Not excited to talk about the end of these bras, but I'll certainly be back for more when the time comes. I didn't know until now that a bra could be this comfortable AND supportive.
Comfort plus. If you're a bigger size I'm not sure why I need the padding?
I'm zero-plastic and found this company. I LOVE this bra, the quality and fit are excellent and are far superior to any other bra i've owned. Seriously.
It is so difficult to find a padded bralette like this for larger cup sizes and made of all natural materials, not polyester and nylon. The bra fits perfectly according to the size chart’s recommendation and feels like a dream. I’d absolutely repurchase and recommend to others!
