Our beautiful second collaboration with Liberty Fabric!
The word Pansy derives from the latin verb Pensare - to take everything into consideration, to think! We love this, the thinking woman's bra - Pansy :-)
This bra is so comfortable. No annoying elastic on the skin around the chest - it is enclosed in the fabric. I didn’t realise how annoying that was until I had to use one of my old bras bought from a department store.
It fits slight firmer than the other bras but only marginally so.
I love this, my second bra from this website. I have always been a fan of Liberty fabric and how nice to know it is also compostible. For my first purchase I used the size chart but I found it a bit tight around my chest. I went up a size (but down a cup-size as recommended on the website, so from 34C to 36B) this time and it is more comfortable. So if you are close to the top end of the sizing chart and you don't like things to be tight, I recommend going up a size - I'm still using the outer bra-clips on the larger size which gives me the potential to make it tighter if the fabric does stretch a bit.
As with others I have bought from you, very comfortable generally but just wish you went up to F cup size to stop my boobs falling out whenever I bend down!
hopefully this year
So comfortable and fits true to size. I know that my carbon footprint is diminished as a result of purchasing this type of product. Great homemade product.
A beautiful feel and wonderful support. A really lovely garment that works!
I am giving 5 stars because they are beautifully made knickers and I love the associated ethical and sustainable values. I also appreciate that they are slightly larger than the original Big Knickers. However, I would still like a few more centimetres added to the height. They do not come up as high on me as they appear to on the models, obviously because of my body fat - but I suspect that’s the case with most of us who aren’t models. I am not wanting Nanna knickers, just something that doesn’t show a VPL if I am wearing trousers/skirt of fine material with a short top that doesn’t cover that area.
The Liberty Pansy Big Knickers look pretty and are very comfortable. They have less stretch in them than nylon undies, so keep that in mind when choosing your size. I will purchase more in this style.
I was super excited to receive my Liberty Pansy Big Knickers and am so happy to support landfill diversion by buying compostable panties! However, unfortunately the fit of these underwear were not the best. I felt tight in them and like the seams were cutting into my skin and I sized up ! I'm usually a M in most of my underwear but got an L because I read previous reviews that they run a bit small. Loved the print and the feel of the fabric but not a great fit and also not very flattering on my body. I'm so grateful for the companies mission though and maybe these fit better for slimmer builds!
So sorry to hear this Nicola, briefs are less universally fitting without spandex. We do recommend you try on over other undies first so we can take a return.
I love them. They are comfortable, don’t cut in, don’t ride up, and the pattern is so pretty. I’d love a period undie version some time in the future. Thanks for committing to plastic free products.
Love the comfort and fit provided by these undies. I also have them in poppy and hazel. The pansy print is my favorite though. Very cute. After wearing these and enjoying the soft fabric I can’t wear anything else.
These underwear are very well made and incredibly cute. They do not have any give, so they were unfortunately a bit tight on my thighs where the holes are but perfect on my hips even though I measured before picking the size. So maybe next time I'll order a size up and take in the seams in the hips? Regardless, I am happy with their mission and the quality and can't wait to try more!
