Repeat purchase! Love this bra so much I ordered 2 more
Super soft and comfortable! Perfect fit and provides support without underwire or plastic!!! My skin is sensitive and this fabric and design is worlds better than anything else I have tried
Only feedback for future manufacture would be to figure out a way to provide a bit more modesty coverage Being used to conventional bras with padding I have found I miss having better nipple coverage especially when in work setting
Thank you for making a bra that’s so good it’s worth purchasing from so far away (USA)
Thank you - it’s a great design and the advice on size was very helpful.I am just about to order another one
So hard finding an eco-friendly bra for 14FF girls! In fact impossible. But thanks to TVGB I have switched up a back size and gone down a cup size and the 16E is just right! So very happy - thanks!
I love that this bra is cotton and can be composted at the end of its life. I usually wear a 36D or 34DD and the 8/30C fits well. The band feels a bit loose and I have to wear it on the tightest hooks. If it stretches out, I’ll probably have to sew more hooks on. The bra is a bit lightweight for everyday use, so I’ll probably use this as a lounge bra. The straps fall off my shoulders even when tightened, but this happens with all bras. I’d love to see a Very Good Bra that has convertible straps so I can wear them crossed in the back. Aside from these minor fit issues, I am happy with my purchase.
Very comfortable and the company was great to deal with. Highly recommend
Colour is great, fit is great, good communication, comfy and have a good feeling of not adding to landfill. Telling people about it in the changing rooms at training.
I have bought two Victory bras now and am very happy with the fit, the feel of the material and the comfort level. It’s always hit and miss buying bras online, but the size I ordered fit me perfectly. I’m also very pleased with the support I get, and they do really well as a T-shirt bra too. Absolutely recommend.
Wendy I'm sorry to hear this! They don't have spandex so they will loosen up with wear over the day. I wonder should you have sized down one?
I bought this for the color which seemed good to wear under sheer things (for my medium-light skin tone) and it is, but it's also just a pretty color. I don't have much to say about the V for Victory style vs. the original Very Good style for my 34B figure - I love them both the same! I'll be interested to see how the cotton vs. the tencel holds up over the long run.
I had a feeling this would not be ideal - my bust is just within the size limits offered - but it just doesn't fit me very well.
The bra can be encouraged to sit nicely intially but doesn't stay that way for long and I end up with bulging in the centre. I find the band also rides up
The fabric is otherwise lovely, very nice on the skin. Could be bust size related but unfortunately the straps feel very thin and uncomfortable on the shoulders. Even without stretch i feel thicker straps would make a big improvement
I love the sustainability though and no regrets about giving it a go. Might try to alter it myself even
Fingers crossed for the next design! Love what you are doing but unfortunately just didn't work for my body
Hi Olivia. Sorry to hear this and that it didn't work for you, but thanks for your kind words on the brand and what we are trying to do. It's possibly another cup size up might work better? Also, I'm delighted to say we are launching bras with new wider straps later this month, watch this space!
This bra is a perfect size and very comfortable.
very supportive for big sizes and so comfortable too
Im a 12D/DD and I find it hard to find bras that fit well so I have to admit I went into this sceptical. First impressions were that the colour, shape and general appearance were nice and look pretty flattering on. The bra is a little different to typical bra and has a slightly homemade/handcrafted look that I wasn’t expecting but which actually kind of appealed. The positives are that it’s cute! The cups fit nicely and give a pretty good shape. The v gives cleavage without feeling like I’m going to fall out. It’s super soft and feels nice to wear. The cons- I’m not 100% sold on the straps. They are thinner than I like and seem to loosen quite easily. I find I’m having to adjust them during wear. I’m also wearing it on the tightest closure already and if I don’t it tends to ride up. I don’t know if going down a chest size would help, but if it stretches in doesn’t leave me anywhere to go. It’s also not as supportive as I’m used to and although I’m getting used to that and think I could live with it, there are a few work tops etc that I probably wouldn’t wear it under. All that said, I’ve been wearing it straight for a week and have been impressed enough that I’m contemplating buying another one!
I found this bra comfortable and supportive, I’m planning to buy more. I bought the poppy and love the colour.
Unfortunately, the bra didn't live up to the hype. Extremely uncomfortable straps, scratchy and dug into my skin within minutes of trying the bra on. Otherwise the fabric felt ok, but I couldn't wear the bra, so decided to return it. On the other hand, the undies are fab and definitely keeping them.
Hi Vivienne, as per our emails, I'm sorry the elastic didn't work for you. There is only one 100% compostable elastic in the world and this is it. Synthetic elastics are much more luxurious and soft but sadly all destined for landfill. We are working with a new style of elastic from the same manufacturer next year which is softer, and wider for larger sizes.
The V for Victory bra's so comfortable to wear. It's the first bra I look for.
I love my new V for victory Bra - as a 16DD it is hard to find non wired bra's that are comfortable and supportive but this bra ticks those boxes plus the environmental consciousness box - what's not to love! These are going to be my go to bra's from now on!!
My v Bra is very comfortable and I love knowing it’s chemical feee and fair trade thanks
