I've been wanting the try The Very Good Bra for a while, and one of my old bras finally gave out! I reached out to customer service for help with sizing - I wore 30D in Aerie and they recommended 30C in their sizing. It came today and fits great. The band is a slightly on the tight side but I think it will stretch with time. Seems very high quality and the fabric is comfy. I will update my review after a while with how it wears long term...
My only complaint so far is I wish it had a light padding for the headlights... but overall I am so happy to finally find a compostable bra!
first mail order bra I've ever bought - not disappointed
I love it and wear it when I can. However, the thin cotton without more shape to the front is not good in the office world because you can see an outline of nipple through my shirt. That being said, I haven’t found a sustainably made bra that has that kind of form to the front.
I am constantly trying to find bras that don't allow fall-out when I bend over and this has been the best bra for that yet! In fact, it's the only bra that has enough coverage for me. Unfortunately the Vintage Peach doesn't completely cover me to my liking, but I will definitely be re-purchasing the V for Victory bra! Lightweight, comfortable and provides great shape, all well being easy on the environment and supporting a female-driven business. Wins all around!
I have had my V for Victory bra for a couple of months now and am very happy with it. When I first wore it, straight out of the packet, I ended up with one sore spot on my back from the small folded bit of elastic at the back of the strap. However after its first wash, that pain never happened again and it has been my favourite ever since. I am a medium sized cup and this bra has provided great support (I can happily jog/trot while wearing it), it's comfy and soft to the touch. I will definitely be buying another one.
