The Vintage Peach bra was my second time purchase from The Very Good Bra, and I’m pretty confident that it won’t be my last. Like the Black and Paisley versions in my first purchase, I’m blown away by the comfort and fit of this bra. So soft, and yet supportive. And importantly, I'm super happy to have found this eco sensitive brand.
The colour of this one is very much a vintage colour, which reminds me of 1930s glamorous lingerie adverts, but it’s a great neutral colour to wear under pale linen dresses for summer.
It’s soft and comfortable and perfect except for one thing. I’m actually too large for your bras - the cup sizes are fine but I’m a bit bigger than a 16 so I’m using extenders and it works well. Thank you for making these bras.
Just received my vintage peach brain the mail - was a long wait due to Aus Post delays. My bra fits perfectly, it’s soft and comfortable and excellent colour for everyday wear including whites. I’ll definitely be buying another. I followed the advice from another review to use the size charts provided and, for me personally, this meant I went up from my usual size. I also love that these bras are kind to our environment. A big thank you to all the people at The Good Bra.
These bras are very comfortable, will last for years, and the bonus is that they go back to nature at the end of their ‘working life’. Ordering is easy and postage fast. This was my second order and I will definitely be a returning customer.
Didn’t really know what to expect but very hopeful. Have not been let down. Super comfy and feel supported. Only suggestion could be various strap widths… for every day I like them wider.
Has met expectations and I will be replacing all my bras with this product as needed. Would live a white or skin coloured one to go under while work shirts. Highly recommend.
I bought my first Very Good bras almost 2 years ago. Those ones are holding up well and I came back for more because I love them so much. Perfect combination of form and function. I wear a 34B and they work for me with any top and for yoga and hiking. The fit and quality have not changed in the newer bras.
My only disappointment is that my older black Very Good Bra has gold-colored hardware, which I liked, whereas the new ones have plain steel hardware. It's a minor difference but it makes me think of like a motorcycle look or just looks more utilitarian whereas the gold is subtly glam. I guess a different bra would have black hardware? But I'm definitely glad it's not coated in something nonbiodegradable for color.
I love that this bra is compostable and that the developer is making a stand on the environmental impacts of fast fashion. Bravo! For this and the friendly and quick service I give 5 stars! However, while the bra is comfy and super ethical, it does not give me enough support. I am at the large end of the size range, perhaps this is why. Just something to consider if you are big busted.
I bought the same size as my standard bras (36C) and really glad to see they're true to fit. They're very comfortable and provide decent nipple cover. I'd even wear them as a sports bra because the support is pretty good too. The only thing is that the band is not as elastic as the ones on standard bras, which could be an issue for women with fluctuating weight.
So comfortable all day long and into the night. No scratchy bits. No pokey bits. I love these bras to bits!! :)
I love this bra already. I like the way it brings the boobs slightly together for a bit of a lift too.
I have been exploring wire free options for around a year now. To date, nothing has provided either the comfort or support that this bra does.
I have DD to E cups and had not managed to find a bra that gives me any sort of shape that couldn't be described as anything but 'uniboob' :/
The band sits comfortably without digging in, and the little 'V' support between the cups gives lift and definition - not sure what magic makes it so, but it works!
So many good things to say: great fit, comfort, look, easy online purchase & delivery and above all the sense that I’m not harming the planet. Yes, the bras cost me more than if I’d purchased a ‘regular’ bra from a department store, but my GoodBras will last me many years and I’ll do no damage when I discard them to my compost. Win, win, win!
First off, I contacted The Very Good Bra team for help with sizing and Lauren was amazing. So helpful and helped me pick the perfect fit. I started using it right away when it arrived. It’s more comfortable than I thought it would be. It’s also pretty supportive. I have large-ish breasts and don’t feel droppy or flappy while wearing it. Since it’s cotton, I also don’t get all sweaty. All pluses! And the cut of the bra works with all my necklines so far. I did notice it felt looser after a few wears but I imagine it will tighten up a little again when I wash it. The construction is high quality. The band kind of slides under my breasts a little sometimes but I honestly can’t even feel it.
